When I first saw this movie, I was enchanted. Now, having seen it a second time, I think it's more or less a parody of what happended in the last 500 years on the american continent. Maybe it's the result of a bad conscience pestering the descendants of hordes of ruthless european immigrants, that went berserk over there, a kind of "Vergangenheitsbewältigung" americam style? Maybe I'm wrong ...
