[FORUM] [SONGBOOKS] [PHOTOS] [REHEARSALS] [TRIVIA]
THE CROCE DOZEN is a collection of tablatures that came into being over a period of 20 years, featuring 12 songs written by Jim Croce in the early 1970ies. The TABLATURE SYSTEM is my own creation and might look a bit strange at first sight, but is quite practical to work with, if you are accustomed to it. The tablatures are written for single acoustic guitar, best played on nylon-strung concert models, and are excellent fingerstyle studies for the advanced guitarist.
Songbooks that still can be purchased on the book market aren`t really convincing (i.m.o.), and create the impression of being concocted under pressure of time. But I have to admit, that some tutorials on YouTube I found quite helpful. I realize that the whole material is COPYRIGHT PROTECTED and that I'm running the risk of ending up in a law suit, if I publish any of these files in the WWW.
Then again I feel engaged to give other people the opportunity to critically reflect upon my approach and the solutions that I have found, so far. My motive is absolutely non-profit. If you find some flaws or have something to contribute, drop me a line in the forum.
The songs involved in key order (circle of fifths) as follows:
