The invisible worm, that flies in the night in the howling storm Has found out thy bed of crimson joy, and his dark secret love does thy life destroy. --- This well-known poem was written by William Blake and I remember having read and talked about it in school, when I was 16 years old. Strangely enough, it somehow stayed in my mind, though almost 50 years later, I still don't know what it's all about. And that's why I hate poetry. It's a lot of baloney, if you ask me.  |
