To stabilize your picking hand, put your thumb on the A-string in the red marked part
Red colored exclamation marks offer additional fretting information
Two halftone bends from F sharp to G on the E-string 2nd fret,
followed by an open D after the first and an open A after the second bend, are the song's trademark.
On a steel string guitar, this gimmick is easyly accomplished.
On a nylon-strung concert model, it's simply impossible.
Alternatively you can slide up a halftone on the E-string two times from F# to G, giving up the twang.
It's a compromise you'll have to make, if you're not willing to accept a sick sounding quartertone.
INTRO
The story goes, that Greg Lake was influenced by the intro of ROUNDABOUT,
(a song written by YES in 1971), played by Steve Howe.
I put it down without measure bars or paying attention to any note lenghts.
The reason is, that Lake never played it the same way twice.
It's one of those tunes where you just follow the inspiration of the moment.
